If you’ve only ever used a traditional sauna, infrared can feel surprisingly different. Here’s a quick guide.

How the heat works

A traditional sauna heats the air around you to high temperatures. An infrared sauna uses infrared panels to warm your body more directly, so the air stays at a gentler temperature.

How it feels

Many people find infrared heat comfortable and easy to stay in for longer, which makes it a great choice if you’re new to saunas or simply prefer a softer warmth.

Which is right for you?

Both are brilliant ways to relax. If you’re after a calm, comfortable session you can settle into, infrared is an easy place to start, and it’s at the heart of every ZÖLSTICE session.
